Established in 2019, BETTERx is Oakland's only LOCAL independent community pharmacy. We have a well trained, helpful, staff and a top of the line pharmacy operating system. We are committed to providing you with a BETTER level of care in a friendly and personalized environment.

We take most prescription insurance, but if you don’t have insurance, BETTERx is the place to save. In fact, one customer without insurance saved over $4,000 a year by switching to BETTERx. Not everyone will save that much, and not every prescription is the “cheapest”, but we pass our national buying power along, so you get BETTER overall value.
